Old Course Tartan Collection
Established in 1994, the Old Course tartan features a combination of two tartans, the Melville and the Earl of St Andrews. This was designed to celebrate the opening of the Dukes golf course which is a heathland course situated on the outskirts of St. Andrews. The blues in this design represent the waters of St Andrews Bay, as seen from the Dukes course and for the waters of the Swilcan Burn on the Old Course. The green of course represents the fairways and greens on both golf courses, and the golden colour represents the challenging bunkers found both on the Dukes and Old Course.
